Trailblazers: Intro To Car Camping

When it comes to the adventure of summer camping, there’s more than one way to do it. During this Intro to Car Camping event, we’re going to show you the distinctions between car camping, dispersed camping, backpacking, and everything in between. Plus, we’ll show you what gear you need to get you where you want to go on your next adventure.

This session includes:

  • Gear demonstration and hands-on practice
  • How to plan a camping trip
  • What to pack and eat
  • Securing a location
  • Staying safe in the outdoors
  • A short hike
  • And more!

This session is great for beginners, those seeking a refresher on Camping 101, and those seeking a safe experience with trained guides and like-minded BIPOC women!
