5th Annual Summit Sisters

Three days of phenomenal workshops, activities, good food, and deep connection with nature and community. At Women’s Wilderness, our mission is to transform the lives of girls and women through outdoor experiences. 

Summit Sisters is an immersive weekend retreat for anyone 18+ to connect with others, with nature, and to reconnect with herself. We welcome anyone who identifies as a woman (including cisgender and transgender) or non-binary individual who is comfortable in female-identified spaces. Your space awaits you. It’s time to claim it.

COVID-19 NOTE: This event will be mask-optional for those fully vaccinated. We will have rapid COVID-19 tests on site. We are closely monitoring the rate of infections and will adhere to CDC and local guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all our attendees, presenters, and staff during the event.

Registration Options:

You can choose from BYOG Tent Camping, a Basic Cabin, or a Deluxe Cabin. Registration fees are based on which option you choose and how early you grab your spot.

Tent Camping: $350

Tent camping options are in several designated areas shown above. Bring your own tent and camping gear. Bathroom facilities with flush toilets and showers are ¼-½ mile away. Please note that the tent camping is located in the Lower Camp region of Magic Sky Ranch which is 1.5+/- distance from the main dining hall and activity areas. Please consider this when choosing your lodging. We encourage participants to bring bikes for transport between the camps. Or, to collaborate with other participants for transportation between the camps to keep driving to a minimum each day.

Basic Cabin: $440

Rustic cabins are shared, with bunk beds with mattresses and cubbies for storage. Please bring your own sheet, pillow and blanket(s) for sleeping bag. Bathrooms facilities are a shower house and restrooms in a space shared by all the basic cabin guests.

Deluxe Cabin: $598

Deluxe cabins are shared, fully-insulated year-round cabins with a great room, kitchen facilities, bathrooms and showers within the cabin. Sleeping accommodations include bunk beds with mattresses, dressers and storage space. Please bring your own sheet, pillow and blankets(s) or sleeping bag.

Work Trade

Want to help make this event a success AND attend at a discount? 

We are excited to offer the work trade registration at Summit Sisters 2021. This is a really cool opportunity to attend the event (all meals, lodging, workshops included!) at a discount. We invite you to attend Summit Sisters with a $125 discount in exchange for your commitment to fulfilling the work trade agreement. The discount is based on the amount of labor expected (5 hrs) at a rate of $25/hr. 

You are asked to be present at the retreat site early on Friday, August 20 to attend a work/trade prep meeting, and then also assist with a total of a 5-hour shift(s) at the event (helping with meal preparation, event setup/clean up, check-in, workshop assistance). There are a limited number of these spots so we ask that you take this position seriously. We will communicate with you and the other volunteers in the weeks prior to the event to organize work trade shifts.

Scholarships

REI has generously provided us with scholarships for individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, immigrant, and/or living with a disability to attend Summit Sisters. While this scholarship will cover the majority of the registration fee, we do ask that recipients pay an amount that feels appropriate and represent their commitment to the scholarship and attending the retreat.
