Sunday, July 9th, 9 am – 4pm
Have you ever wanted to experiment with camouflage and stealth? Do you ever wonder how the heck the wild ones happen to hardly ever get seen? Are you interested in minimizing your energetic and physical impact on the landscape? Perhaps you’re interested in what scouting means to you.
In this workshop we will be exploring different methods of concealment on a physical and energetic level. We will explore scout awareness through different practices. This will be mostly experiential as well as a craft aspect of making our own ghillie cape, a piece of camouflage clothing.
Scout awareness is a great way to trail animals with the goal of seeing them without being noticed. There is also a deep philosophy in the way of the scout, which we will discuss throughout the day.
This workshop is open to people of all gender identities.
