There are lots of bolted rock faces in the world.
But then you have to stick to climbing where the bolts have been placed.
The world of climbing opens up when you begin CRACK CLIMBING. There is a beauty, a purism to climbing natural lines – fissures and cracks where water has worn down rock over hundreds of thousands of years and eventually created a route just PERFECT for human hands to fit.
Come learn about this sport – no, art – with us at Vedauwoo, Wyoming. We will camp out together Friday night and then spend Saturday learning about hand jams, toe jams, fist jams, cupped hands…the many, many ways you can ascend a wall while crack climbing!
Some climbing experience will be helpful for this workshop – but truly, when experienced face climbers begin crack climbing, they are beginners again! So if you are new to climbing and interested in this class, contact us and let’s see if it is a good fit for you!
