After-Work Advanced (Mock) Lead Climbing Projecting: 3 Part Course
$150.00 – $250.00
Sliding Scale Course Fees | Women’s Wilderness has created a sliding scale for all its Women’s programs in an effort to keep our courses affordable to a wide range of people. All our pricing scales are significantly below the prices of for-profit companies. The top price represents the actual cost to run the course, and the second two tiers represent scholarships. We set forth no criteria and trust that each individual will pay what they feel is appropriate.
Take your climbing to the next level with this 3-part outdoor advanced (mock) lead climbing course! Making the transition from confidently leading in the gym where commitment is low to lead climbing outside can be intimidating. In this course you will learn tricks and tips for making outdoor lead climbing more approachable. You will connect with other women and build your confidence with outdoor climbing while forming lasting relationships with other ladies in the community. You will learn nuanced skills for reducing the risk of outdoor leading and experiment with pushing your edge outdoors in a safe and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to hone and practice your anchor cleaning skills and to feel what it is like to lead/mock lead more challenging climbs outdoors. You will receive individualized guidance to improve your climbing performance, both technically and mentally. And best of all, you will hold yourself to climbing outside with a rad group of women at least once/week for 3 consecutive weeks and together we will enjoy sunset from Boulder Canyon!
