What I’ve taken away from this trip is that whenever you feel disconnected from yourself, you can always return to nature to sort through things with positive energy and find peace of mind.

The presenters. The volunteers. The other ladies there. Everyone helped me feel very welcome and included.

This course was phenomenal! Wonderfully encouraging, uber knowledgeable instructors led us through a full day of learning and practicing lead sport climbing. I feel so confident with building/cleaning anchors, and clipping bolts correctly after this course.
-
I really loved my overall experience at SS and would definitely attend next year. It was a great mix of wilderness skills/activities as well as more emotional/spiritual work.
-
The leaders were great, they taught us so much and made it easy to understand. I admit, I was nervous going to the class but everyone made me feel comfortable and I came away with a lot more knowledge about rock climbing than I thought I would. I will definitely take another course some day.
-
I felt totally safe the whole day, and it was a great learning environment where everyone encouraged you to take your time and get it right. Lots of practice really helped solidify the information and techniques for me, and I really liked the way we were allowed to try and never felt any pressure. Plus I felt like I made some friends in the process with all of the other students. Couldn’t suggest it more, thanks Women’s Wilderness!!
