, Climbing Instructor
Kris first guided backpacking trips in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains in the late 90’s. After a Bachelor’s in English, a Master’s in Religion, a move to Colorado in 2005, and further education as a nutrition consultant, she suddenly remembered why she loved Colorado in the first place and began instructing and guiding with the Women’s Wilderness Institute. In addition Kris is currently writing her first novel and training her second dog, Captain Nemo. If she’s not plugged into her headphones in front of her computer at a local coffee shop, you might find her in Eldorado Canyon, Loveland Ski Area, the Boulder Rock Club, or the Lafayette Dog Park. Kris completed a NOLS Outdoors Educators Course and an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor Course.
