Gwendolyn Clarke, Field Instructor
Gwendolyn’s experiences in the outdoors have been some of the most meaningful, formative times of her life and she loves providing girls with the opportunity to experience the gifts that nature has to offer. Having spent two years working in wilderness therapy and three years teaching, she is thrilled to bring her passion for the outdoors and teaching to Women’s Wilderness. Working with girls and womxn in a wilderness setting, she has observed the special magic that occurs for young people during time spent outside. She has witnessed outdoor experiences lead to the gradual accumulation of self-assurance and has seen the powerful bonds formed when girls are working as a team, pushing through discomforts, and supporting one another. She is so excited to be a part of a program that fosters a community of inclusion and empowerment for girls and womxn.
