“We created a space in our circle where everyone’s feelings counted, where we listened and spoke, and acceptance was understood. Through each other’s eyes we saw new worlds, new ways of moving about in the world, new ways of opening up.”
-Lori, age 39,
Wilderness Recovery Course

“I think the main thing this course helped me realize is how much my life has been “on hold” dealing with all of the emotional issues that have come up. Being back in an environment I love, doing activities I love, and connecting with people who could understand my past have all urged me on to reclaiming what I want out of life.”
- Alicia, age 52,
