Get off the ground. Climb at a different area each day during this two-day clinic in the Boulder area. Tie it all together. This weekend clinic provides an excellent opportunity for intermediate climbers to take their skills to the next level. Over two days, you’ll learn to set your own top ropes, build natural and artificial anchors, practice equalization, gear placement and different anchor systems. Previous climbing experience is recommended. Includes climbing gear and lunches.

Get on the sharp end of the rope. This weekend is designed for experienced climbers who are ready to start lead climbing but want more skills and a confidence boost before getting on the “sharp end.” You’ll explore effective gear placement, learn about maximizing safety and then try “mock-leads” with a top-rope back-up. This course focuses on trad climbing, but principles apply to sport climbing as well. Top Rope Anchor Weekend or experience with setting anchors is recommended as a foundation for this course. Includes climbing gear and lunches.

Climb toward your center. Build confidence, connections and climbing skills with three days of top-notch instruction, daily yoga and a wide variety of rock terrain on which to develop your technique. This holistic climbing immersion incorporates yoga to bring a deeper awareness of body, mind and environment to help guide and strengthen your connection with the rock. Enjoy lots of individual attention as you learn crack and face climbing methods, belaying, rappelling, safety practices and an introduction to anchor and gear placement for those who are ready. This retreat takes place at Vedauwoo, a world-renowned, and stunningly dramatic, climbing area in Southern Wyoming. Designed for beginning and intermediate climbers.
