Beth Davis, Executive Director, has 16 years of non-profit management.  Beth has a proven record of increasing growth, setting strategic vision and optimizing efficiency in organizations.  She holds a masters degree in management and health policy from Harvard.  Her healthcare work experience focused on hospice care.  End-of-life is an essential experience – a time of authenticity, depth and sacredness.  Beth imagines a world where these gifts are learned and experienced early in one’s life.  She is dedicated to pulling forth the strength of girls and women.  Beth’s outdoor resume is highly competitive having climbed all 54 Colorado Fourteeners and gone on outdoor adventures around the world.  She has assisted in outdoor education for avalanche, wilderness trekking, and ski mountaineering schools.  When Beth isn’t hiking mountains she can be found analyzing dreams and tending to her herb garden.

jodyJody Radtke, Program Director brings more than 17 years of outdoor education experience, enthusiasm and know-how to Women’s Wilderness. A veteran of both sides of the outdoor program coin, Jody’s spent more than 1000 days in the field during her career as an instructor with Outward Bound and Women’s Wilderness, and was a course director, associate program director and staffing manager at Outward Bound. She also has a masters degree in psychology from Naropa, and teaches in their MA Wilderness Therapy program. When she’s not working in the field, Jody’s probably playing outside. Her adventures include mountaineering in New Zealand and the French and Swiss Alps, and a 50-day unsupported canoe expedition within the Arctic circle. Closer to home, you also might find her tele-skiing, playing Ultimate Frisbee, ice climbing, dancing or playing her guitar.

Heather Mann, Enrollment, Volunteer & Web Coordinator, has been playing in the outdoors her entire life, and the people closest to her would describe her as a person who adapts well to change. Heather brings extensive experience in nonprofit management and coordination to Women’s Wilderness. Previously, she’s worked with Envision EMI, an international youth leadership group; Imaginarium, a youth diversity center; and Motivation Mentors, an adolescent at-risk mentoring program. Heather’s travels during college allowed her to explore her scuba and mountaineering skills in Australia and New Zealand, a passion that continued during her Peace Corps service in Madagascar, leading backcountry trips for adolescents. Aside from snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking, Heather also finds sanity in the music of Prince, sushi, and frequent chats with her grandma.

Wendy Gruenberg Wray, Marketing Director , combines 10 years marketing and advertising experience with a background in experiential education and a lifelong love of the wilderness and adventure. Wendy's worked at advertising agencies in New York and Boulder and has created communications campaigns for a variety of nonprofit organizations and consumer products including chocolate, children's games and high-end sewing machines. Wendy also spent five years working with adolescents and is a first-hand believer in experiential education, having led wilderness trips across the American West and taught interactive government courses in Washington, DC. After many years in the urban wilds, Wendy is dedicated to spending as much time as possible playing in Colorado's mountains, golf courses, dog parks and rivers!

Lindsay Miller, Community Programs Director , graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Women and Gender Studies. Lindsay has led courses with Women's Wilderness since 2005. Before that she danced in NYC as a motivational dancer for bat mitzvahs and in Los Angeles in a salsa hip-hop company. Lindsay is also a Spanish Interpreter, salsa teacher, and jewelry designer. Lindsay's passion for working with girls, combined with her love of the wilderness makes her a great fit for TWWI. Lindsay's a Boulder native who’s travels have taken her backpacking through the vast desert and slot canyons of southern Utah, backcountry skiing and winter camping in the snowy Absaroka mountain range, crack climbing in southern Colorado and swimming under waterfalls in the jungles of Venezuela . Lindsay led Wild Moves last summer where she had the opportunity to combine her skills in dance, yoga and rock climbing while she played in the wilderness, backpacking and laughing with amazing girls on a fantastic course.
