Colorado State Forest and Cameron Pass

This stunning playground borders Rocky Mountain National Park and boasts jaw-dropping scenery with minimal crowds. Pristine alpine lakes, snow capped peaks, meadows filled with summer wildflowers and a vast network of trails provide unlimited variety for backpacking and exploring. We conduct several of our winter courses near Cameron Pass, a favorite spot for backcountry and yurt trips, sandwiched between breathtaking Never Summer and Medicine Bow Mountains. Colorado State Forest and Cameron Pass are approximately 2 1/2 hours from Boulder.
