"Women's Wilderness really ‘gets' girls. They know that one of the biggest challenges to girls is to find their own voice, forcing them to speak out differently from the group. I don't think other wilderness groups understand how significant that experience is for girls...WWI builds finding your sense of self in to all they do. Nothing could be more important to adolescent girls."
