Explore outside and within.This is the original Girls' Wilderness adventure and year after year a favorite combination of outdoor adventure and self expression. This course fills fast! It is perfect for those that want to achieve a true wilderness experience through backcountry travel. Focusing solely upon the adventure of backpacking, this course starts in Wyoming's beautiful Snowy Mountains, with the rewarding option to summit Medicine Bow Peak. Have fun while becoming more confident and comfortable practicing your backpacking and camping skills. Learn and practice navigating by map and compass, contribute to group decisions on how you want your community and trip to progress, and then work together as a team to achieve those goals. Give back by participating in a community project, and come home feeling terrific with new friends and a sense of accomplishment.
