Gear & Cheer 2009 ~ Information for Sponsors

Gear & Cheer is our annual spring fundraiser, featuring feature live and silent auctions, tastings of local beer, wine and food, and fantastic live music. This spirited, interactive event raises money to provide scholarships for our Girls' Wilderness Program and is a great forum to showcase your company, network with community influencers, and initiate strategic partnerships. Gear & Cheer is one of Boulder's most spirited parties and the crowd grows larger and more enthusiastic each year! Help us make our lucky 7th annual Gear & Cheer our most successful ever!

Tips for Gear donors:

  • Variety adds value ~ One of a kind items fetch higher prices and lend value to your products better than multiple donations of the same items.
  • Showcase your styles ~ Gear & Cheer is a great way to show off the latest additions to your line, and also a fabulous opportunity bring back discontinued favorites.
  • Creativity is queen ~ Folks love to bid on things they can't find anywhere else; in addition to gear, we do very well with gift certificates, services, special events...if it's something you'd enjoy, chance are our bidders will too!


Timing and Deadlines for Donors
Logo deadline: March 1

Logos for promotional material for Title, Summit, On Belay and Gear Head level sponsors must be emailed to by Courtney no later than March 1, 2009. This is a firm deadline and we will not be able to accommodate late logo submissions.

Donations deadline: March 15
Donations along with completed donation forms must be received at The Women's Wilderness Institute by March 15, 2009. Some special arrangements can be made if needed, please contact Courtney.
